Finding Time For God
Posted On 04/29/2011 15:52:03 by vernpaul
I was reading a recent article in The Messenger that talked about letting god run your life and having trust in God. Life went south for a bit. My job was getting dull and my wife came down with cancer I then decided to try and listen to god a bit more. I decided to listen to god and put more trust in god in this matter. So far as far as good things happening things are going well. god has led me to a new job with a newspaper. He also has kept my current wife from becoming seriously ill. The bot... Read More

So many things to say and so many people to talk to that we often forget to tell him. It is only my first cup of coffee this morning so bear with me. If we only knew what the criteria was for God. Do you think that would change the way we act and pray? Perhaps not. Humans tend not to be that organized. Ok, I am not that organized.

I was reading an article the other day in the St. Anth... Read More

Posted On 07/20/2010 12:49:39 by EquusNomVeritas
Note: I originally wrote this piece for my site, The Nicene Guys. I've reproduced the whole thing here.

One of the most common mistakes I've heard made by my fellow Christians is the idea that the highest aspiration of a "Christian society" is that it be a just society, that is, one which proclaims "justice... Read More
